Services and Rates

Gain a comprehensive understanding of chess, including sportsmanship and etiquette, openings, castling, pins, forks, skewers, en passant, overloading, scorekeeping and notation, endgame tactics, advanced theory, and more.

Using a combination of fun and engaging puzzles, exercises, and narrated play, students can realize their potential, learn the skills to play anyone, anywhere, and build a healthy, strong sense of self-confidence.

I work with both youth and adults, and the teaching system I’ve developed is adaptable for each individual, their skill level, and their chess goals. Lessons are in person and over-the-board, they can be online, or they can be a combination of both as needed.

Individual, private lessons

Lessons are 60- or 90-minutes each and can be purchased on a single, per-session basis or as a punch pass of 10 or 20 sessions. (90-minutes is recommended to allow for more advanced study.)

Discounted rates apply when purchasing a punch pass of 10 or 20 sessions.

1 single lesson: $50

1 punch pass of 10 lessons: $450 (10% savings of $50, or the equivalent of 1 free lesson)
